I stayed here 3 nights and loved it. Some of the staff members were polite. Food in the main bar was fine. Actually everything was wonderful, my next choice again in Reading.

Fairly clean and quirky place, genuinely helpful and decent staff. Good meals. Tastefully decorated & airy unit with free bottled water, interesting decor, as example. Handy location for Reading, short walk to the center of Reading on a Friday night, restaurants and The Oracle and shopping areas as well as the train station.

The setting is unbeatable and fantastic, near train station as well as the shops, the onsite bars, and the center of Reading, good area. Don't forget to visit nearby La Baguette, they have best coffee ever.

I had great-sized room with Wi-Fi and an iron. There was a walk-in shower, a plus for me. The location was amazing for traveling around Reading, very close to river, eateries and DLR line as well as the centre of town. Decent staff, provided information if needed.
The room seemed average.

Sincerely, it was a really comfortable stay on a business trip. The staff were all accommodating, welcoming. It was in a great and handy location a few steps away from Reading Crown Court Courthouse. Also, the area was good. This hotel met the needs in every way, strongly recommend.
